Our Story
Sherry and Garrett attended the same school from the 1st-12th grade. Although elementary school days were filled with prank calls and passing notes for friends, they did not actually start talking until the 8th grade. Friendship quickly evolved into relationship until they became inseparable. Their relationship was a secret at first since both of them weren’t technically allowed to date just yet lol! Once their little secret could no longer be kept secret, weekends consisted of movie dates, entire days spent at the mall together, and just about anything to allow them to spend some time together. College days brought on a series of hardships, but they eventually found their way back to one another. Since then, they’ve had kids, started a short-term rental business, and everything in between! Once again, they have become inseparable and plan to keep things this way 5ever

Where is it?
The ceremony and reception will take place at Panama Jack Cancun Resort in Cancun, Q.R., Mexico. Panama Jack Resorts Cancun is a brand new all-inclusive, family-friendly hotel that features elegant accommodations inspired by the sea. What should I wear?
Girls: Opt for a simple sundress, breezy maxi dress, or high-quality romper. Semi-formal dresses are also allowable. While dressy sandals are acceptable, avoid standard, beachwear flip flops. Ceremony and reception will not be held on sand, so heels are appropriate.

Guys: Nice, short-sleeved shirts such as polos and button-ups are permitted as well as nice shorts (think Chinos) with a belt. Lighter colors and/or bold prints will elevate your casual look. Suits are appropriate, yet, not necessary. Avoid denim, cargo, and swim shorts. Cotton t-shirts are not permitted. Wear a deck shoe or loafer, never sneakers. Sandals are permitted, but avoid standard, beachwear flip flops.
Who’s paying for this?
We ask that guests pay for their own travel and hotel rooms. Please consider these travel costs as a wedding gift to us. The reception will be provided for all guests to enjoy.
How do I book?
In the upper right corner of the wedding website, you will click the “Book Now” tab, and simply pay a $150 deposit per person to secure your room. With 0% interest payment plans and split payment options, you will be able to pay as you go until the final payment deadline. All rooms must be paid in full by the final payment deadline (65 days prior to departure). The packages are All Inclusive, with unlimited dining, beverages (alcoholic & non-alcoholic), activities, entertainment, taxes and fees. No space is being held at the hotel. Please make your reservation as soon as possible to guarantee your room. Each room (including yours!) will receive a guest dashboard once they reserve their room. Guest Dashboards allow each guest to view their itinerary, make payments and request modifications, and all online for your convenience!
Are kids allowed?
Yes! We encourage everyone to come and participate in celebrating the big day! There will be a kid’s menu on the day of the wedding as well as lots of family-friendly activities around the resort on non-wedding days.
Can I bring a plus one?
Of course! When reserving your room, you will be asked the number of adults and children as well as the names of everyone staying in your room. Please ensure that all additional guests are accounted for on these forms.
What do we do in our downtime?
The resort has a wide array of daily activities including wine and tequila tastings with on-side sommelier, beach volleyball and soccer, yoga and aqua-aerobics, and nightly entertainment. Soak in the sun from the pool deck or take a dip in the sprawling pool overlooking the sea, where waiters are happy to serve you refreshing cocktails and soft drinks from the bar. Panama Jack Resorts also offers Camp Jack, a program for kids aged 4-12, which will allow you some time to take advantage of the Aura Spa’s complimentary hydrotherapy area or indulge in a luxurious salon service.
What if I can’t make it?
While we would love to have everyone celebrate with us, we understand that it may be difficult for some to travel out of the country. We will be having an engagement/couple’s shower in March 2022 in Helotes, TX for those who are unable to attend the wedding. More information to come soon!
